PLEXE - Platform for Lighting Effects Experimentation Environments
The objective of the project is to Identify, design, and implement a platform/environment, validated by pilot studies, for the ongoing real-world study of the perceptual, behavioural and physiological effects of light in residential spaces.

The Live-In Lab at KTH with its advanced sensing and digital twin infrastructure provides a unique opportunity to study the perceptual, behavioral and physiological effects of lighting , and the ways in which those effects can be enhanced to emphasize their positive impacts, in a real-world scenario.
This proposal is for a project (“PLEXE - Platform for Lighting Effects Experimentation Environments”) that identifies, designs, implements, and validates new infrastructural components to be added to the living spaces at the KTH Live-In Lab to support advanced lighting related studies, sensing and adjusting lighting qualities in the residential spaces.
